Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967. She was born in Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts who settled in Atlanta. Her father had an early interest in the theater. As a student at Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University as well as elsewhere in Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he was cast as a soldier in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. They were married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter began studying at Tulane. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded by themselves. They created an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which ran for six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also referred to as Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
