Her birth date was the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Her birth name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican daughter of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson was born in Mexico. She is Mexican-American by heritage but has American nation by birth. Ever since she was young she's always been attracted to sports. Gerina began to play golf when she was 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her high school education. She was the winner of New Mexico's state golf tournament. As well as volleyball, she competed on a state-level. She began attending the University of Texas. She was the only winner of all competitions she participated in during her final years. Through her college professional career, she took home an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and Female UTEP athlete of the Year.
