Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 during an Olympic celebration. Bela Karrolyi, a Romanian gymnastics teacher who later became Comaneci's coach, first discovered Comaneci when she was just six years old. She participated at the Romanian Junior Championships where she placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. She won three golds in her first competition in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972 for communist countries. In 1973 and 1974, she became the junior all-round champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver in her first international competition for seniors, held in 1975. This was her first time she participated as an older senior. She was the first female to ever successfully complete the backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She started her career as an entertainment professional during her teenage years in which she was a part of the figure skating duo of their twin sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol began her career in entertainment during her teenage years. She began her career as figure skater performing with her twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around called Ice Capades. They featured staged ice skating shows.
