Katherine Heigl reveals to the world on her "white bubble life" and how it has affected her parenting style for her multiracial adopted children. She is the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress revealed in a recent interview she was told that when it came to skin tone, it wasn't a factor for her the way she looked however, after speaking to her older sister, who was adoptive from South Korea, she realized how differently society viewed each of the two. "I inquired of Meg how she was different when she went out with us parents than the times she was out on her own. She replied: 'Oh yeah, all the time!' Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." She said that she was upset and believed it was important to focus the anger she felt on the adopted children she has. Heigl has a four-year old son and a 13-year-old husband, Josh Kelley. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. and then Adalaide aged 8 who is now young and Black as of 2012.
